"Oh Lord won't you buy me a heated garage
I've waited all winter to play with my car
The ground is too frozen to work in the yard
So Lord, won't you buy me a heated garage.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a red XKE
The car suits my image I'm sure you'll agree
Fixed-head or a roadster, both look good to me
So Lord, won't you buy me a red XKE"

That's right up there on my list too. With hot water heat in the floor, lots of lights and an oversized swamp cooler for summer.

My house has an unheated basement/workshop/garage that's at ground level on one side (the house is on sloped property). For years, I've worked down there, freezing my **** off. As we speak, I'm having a new heating system put in, with the boiler in my "shop" area. The plumber promises that it'll be a toasty warm enviroment for car work when it's complete (soon!). Can't wait, as I have the Green Racer and the Blue Bodge parked outside to make room for the work...both snow-covered at the moment.
