Wisconsin restore project with plate!!

ALERT: Watch out for the "Ask Seller A Question" part.....(see quote below)

do not respond to this. its a link that takes you to a spoofed ebay login page where this fraudster tries to get you to enter your ebay user ID & Password. Its the latest the ebay ripoff scheme phishing attempt. BEWARE!

the auction itself seems legit however.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]Hello, My name is Robert Wall. I am interested in your item. The problem is that I am a very confused as I've seen another item very similar to yours. oooooooops, Stupid me. I went to that page before I read the last post. What should I be aware of and looking for?

dont put your ebay user id and/or password in there (its a spoofed page)

If you did, you might want to go and change your ebay password really quick like.

Looks like the correct eBay (https) login page to me... the one you see any time you ask a seller a question, etc.

I'm referring to the link that "Robert Wall" provides in his "ask the seller a question" that was posted into the auction.

I just asked a question, "Where and when can the car be seen?" Let's see what the answer is. There is a lot of bidding on it.

the issue here is not with the seller. Its this Robert Wall fella thats trying to get people to plug into that link in his question, thereby prompting the phony ebay log in page where he captures your user id & password.

paste that phony ebay address into your browser and see what happens

its quite diabolical - one of the better phishing scams I have seen

just so you know where I am coming from, I have been in Fraud detection for a major credit card company for the last 15 years. I know fraud when I see it.

And I think we just saw that same scheme used on another car recently. Exact same line "Hi my name is xxxxxxx, and I'm interested in the car but I'm confused because..."etc etc.

Thank you for the clarification. I misunderstood your original post to mean the seller was a problem.
