Hello,

Who can tell me when this colour code wiring harness was used. As the previous owner had cut it on several places
and want to have it repaired/replaced.

2 nd question would be who knows a company who can made wring harnesses to order.

regards

Harry

Harry,
I've used Rhode Island Wiring Service and have been very happy with them. They know the colors to use. I also repair my harness(replace bad wires with new wires), and have then rebraid the harness. About a two week turn-around. Some Healey owners suggested that I buy a new harness but repairs were pretty simple so why spend the extra $$$$?

Hi Harry, I think both of the above replies are good. However, if your harness utilises the early rubber insulated wire it might be in your best interests to replace the entire harness.--Fwiw-Keoke

Hello,

Thanks for the replies I will get in touch with them.

Was black and white braided cotton a standard colour of the harness

There are vairations depending upon your year of Healey. A has black braid with red & white tracers. If my memory serves me correctly(haven't killed that brain cell), , the OD harness had black braiding with blue and yellow or white tracers.
