I picked up a stripped body shell for my B this weekend. The shell is almost totally rust free but is totally stripped including the wiring harness. I'm thinking at this point that it would make more sense for me to install a new wiring harness rather that pull the harness from my old body and re use it. Any reccommendations on who makes the best harness at the best price?
 
I've rewired my '76 using a generic 8 circuit harness from Painless (about $380) and the process was relatively painless. But, I retained the original MGB dash harness and this made for some head-scratching for mating the Painless harness with the B dash. I also added relays on all circuits to take the load off the switches.

Now if I had to do this all over again I think that I would opt for the B harness sold by Advance Auto. At least from their instructions and pictures available over the net, it looks to be a more B friendly piece of work.

Starting with an oem style harness is the way to go-it eliminates headaches down the road. British wiring and Moss both sell them and they are in the same price range as one of those aftermarket ones.
 
All the suppliers use the same wiring harness...so, its just which is less expensive.
