wiring for a 45D4M distributor

I am trying to figure out how to attach the 45D4M also know as the 45D4 CEI distributor up to the wiring harness.

From the electronic box I have 3 wires, a long black one that hooks up to the distributor and then I have a white wire and white/black wire. Can anyone tell me where these go? I am thinking one must go to the distributor and the other to perhaps the harness but I am not sure.

Thanks

not sure right now but i will look at mine tomorrow and see if i can help

I figured it out with a little help from others. They suggested I use the wiring diagram for the 1978 and told me the "White/Black wire" coming from the CEI box goes to the negative side of the coil, the white goes to the positive side of the coil and that I also had to ground the metal box. I had not done that the first time I had tried the unit and thought the CEI was not working. As soon as I grounded the unit I got it to work.

that is how mine is, glad ya got it !!
