Can anyone advise the proper paint code or color name for the paint color for a 1966 Austin Healey BJ8 wire wheels? If the proper color number/name is not known, what looks best?

Thanks

I see you joined the forum in June, and just now made your first post. May I welcome you here, and also mention that had you posed your question in June, your wheels would have been painted by now!
Seriously, welcome, and don't be shy.
I used the Moss paint, and it looks as close to the original as any I have found. Some of the paint is too "shiny", but the stuff I got from Moss had the proper "Metallic Grey" look to it.
It's hard to describe a color verbally.

Hi Francis, For rattle can painting of wire wheels the break down of vendors/paint codes provided by "Patton" above should also be used for the 100-4 cars. However, if you are seeking SS chrome wire wheels the codes I provided will lead you in the right direction too.
