Looking for a place where I can get my wires spin balanced within 100 miles of Tulsa, Ok. No one I've found close seems to have the proper setup for our wheels. I want them spin balanced, thought of bubble balancing them, but ruled that out. Any clues? PJ

Paul,
I printed out a copy of the Moss guide on properly mounting wire wheels for balancing and took it with me to the local tire shop, explained the how and why and they pulled the correct adapters from the warehouse to make it work. This was my first experience getting wire wheels balanced and they did a beautiful job, rotating the tire on the wheel to the point of needing very little weight. This was their first time mounting and balancing wire wheels and they obviously care about their work.

Rut, I was just contacted by a club member saying he has an adapter ordered with the proper fittings so one of our local tire shops can spin balance them on a conventional machine. Nice guy! :encouragement: PJ

Took the car out yesterday on a 35 mile run and vibration started at 55 mph. Car won't come out of it's nest again until that's fixed.
