Wipers - how should they spin

I got power to my wiper motor and surprisingly, things spin.

Now how are the wipers supposed to spin?

Mine seem to be wrong, they spin in opposite directions: both wipers spin towards the inside of the windshield at the same time.

I don't have arms yet, so I can't tell if they'd hit each other, but I don't think this is right. Should both wipers be pointed towards the driver when parked and then spin up and towards the passenger?

Do I have the gearboxes mounted wrong? I have them mounted so that the cable is below the spindles.

Tis not right, yep you have a box installed upside down or something.

As I remember you can only get them in one way without bending things.

Yes both should point toward the drivers side, left, when parked and should both move in tandam.

Thanks Jack, that's what I thought.

Guess I have to become a contortionist and get under the dash to see what's wrong.

The Morris Minor has that setup, where the wipers park in the middle, pointing at each other. Same wheel boxes, just the one is inverted.
