Wiper wheel boxes I dug out my wiper stuff and everything seems to be good except for the last piece on the end. Is there supposed to a little of the cable sticking out for some reason?

If the cable is installed, then that is normal. It is just the “extra” cable. It will likely go in and out when you operate the wipers.
 
I think I am over the hill John. This morning at coffee it came to me that the other end will pull out and go onto that pin in the motor and the tip sticking out will probably flush up or recesses some in the tube.
