Wiper set up help needed

Hi

I’m after a bit of information, regarding what classic cars use the same windscreen wheel boxes and cable that a mini does. The cable pulls and pushes to operate the wipers.

I’m actually trying to find out if any other cars use a longer length of the spiral cable, as I have built a custom car, and the wipers go in and out, opposes to side to side, and I could really do with a longer length. The Mini length works, but it really would be better if it was about 6 inches longer.

So if any one knows any other car that uses this type of wiper set up, I would be really grateful if you could let me know, so I can find out what length they use.

Thanks

Don

The alpine is a push and pull type with the spiral cable. As to length, I couldn't say but I might have one somewhere in all the stuff stored elsewhere. At this time it would be impossible to look for it.

Don't some older Mercedes use the "clap hands" wiper layout?
