Wiper Motor burnt up - recommendations

Almost ready to get the Gt6 Mk1 back on the road, just need a few last things to pass inspection, one is the wiper motor. Got it connected up and smelled a lovely burning smell. I popped the end off and the windings are definitely burnt.

Since it's the Mk1, Victoria British doesn't offer a replacement. Has anyone had one rebuilt by someone they'd recommend? There's someone on eBay that rebuilds them at $170 + shipping, which felt a little high, so I thought I'd see what else was out there, and any recommendations before I commit.

My 67 Lucas catalog shows it as a model DR3A, P/N 75568A. That model wiper motor is used in TR4A, Spitfire, etc. but with a different part number. There are some differences, but I would guess that you could build a usable motor by combining parts from your old motor (particularly the driven gear, which determines how far the rack moves) with parts from a used TR or Spit motor.

Or for $200, I might have a whack at rewinding it myself. Are both the armature and field windings burnt?

This exact one is a 75607B, the part that's obviously burnt is the on a plastic block next to the motor shaft. I've never rewound anything like that before, but I'd happily try it out?
