We were expecting a lot worse than we got (so far). We have about 3-4 inches on the ground where I live, but I'm hearing there are a large number of power outages. Hope everyone is staying safe (and warm). Chime in (if you can)

Got to use the snowblower this morning. Projected to get 8 - 12 inches of snow through tomorrow morning. Have over 6" so far. High temperatures in the teens through out the week. Everyone stay safe and warm. The blizzard of 78 started 48 years ago yesterday.

I have already plowed and shoveled mine twice and plowed out my neighbor.
It started snowing here at 3:15am and itโ€™s still snowing 13 hours later!
Hereโ€™s our snow fall

We are on the periphery here in SE Michigan but you donโ€™t have to go far for that to be different. We are going to get about 5โ€ of light fluffy snow which is more of a nuisance here than anything. I feel sorry for those suffering without power or stuck in airports or on the side of a road somewhereโ€ฆ

It has finally warmed up to 18 deg her in central OK. The weather prognosticators kept warning us we would get 12 or more inches of snow but it looks like we got about 3 or 4. It has been darn cold for a few days though. So far no problems at least in my neighborhood with power and our lines are all above ground.

Elliot - that'll teach ya not to lose your car keys in the snow!

We've got about 18" here so far, another foot in the forecast before it tapers off Tuesday morning. All roads closed. Back yard view at 5pm:

(Note: New England snow forecasts never go down over time - they always go up.)

On the way home I saw a car with a dog sticking it's head out of the
passenger side window. It was something like 14 degrees outside.

Bout a foot of snow over the course of the day and a level 3 county emergency to keep people off the streets while they try to plow. I did get my driveway mostly cleaned up over the day, did a bit, went and rested, did a bit more sort of thing. I'm more worried though over the temps predicted in SW OH for the next 5-6 days, highs barely in the double digits and overnight below zero. Then back to more normal 20s and 30s sometime next weekend or start of next week. Least we didn't have high winds to go along with it so no real drifting.

The county is basically closed, level 3 status so only state/county/city cars/trucks allowed out. I did get shoveled out yesterday, did half, rested, did the rest. Now need later today to go down and clean the end of the driveway where plowing overnight piled up snow. Could be worse, power stayed on and no ice like many further south have seen.

Going to get out a proper snowplow

We got between 4 1/2" and 5 1/2" of snow here in SW OK. It is a balmy 10 degrees here this morning and the weather man says it will hit the low 20s later.

Elliot - your TR needs some snow tires -
