Winter Storage question

Tom, There is actually a practical reason for me putting it up on stands, before I put it to bed, I change the oil and filter, grease it, plus wipe the undercarriage and drive train down. There's no way I can get under it unless it's on stands, I just simply leave it that way until Spring, but I do make sure the stands are under the suspension. :encouragement: PJ

Oh yeah, as I have an exhaust flexible tube to run out of the garage, I run the engine once a month to bring everything up to temperature before shutting it down.

Paul - Sounds like a plan!

(And as you're a pilot, I'm glad you have a relief tube in the garage ...)

Paul - that's what I've been thinking. Certainly doesn't hurt to put the car up on stands, but some folks might call that overkill.

And some folks might not :wink-new: (It is VERY dusty in NM.)

Also helps keep the BCF snowflakes off ...

We are looking forward to seeing your E!

By the way, if weather's clear tonight, check out the Super moon. Should be a great view.

I use the wheel chocks that are rounded to prevent flat spotting, but fire up and run when weather is decent. Have to rub it down occasionally anyway, might as well take it for a spin.
