Winter Storage - Enclosed Car Trailer

I'm looking for the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the door for a BJ7 & BJ8. The reason is that I'm looking to purchase a enclosed car trailer for winter storage.

Unfortunately I don't have a 3 car garage so I need to put the BJ7 somewhere that's safe and where I won't have fear of it getting buried in a winter snowfall. The particular trailer that I've looked at is 8' wide by 18' in length and has an inside wheel arch that I'm worried about banging my door into /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif They also offer a 7' wide version with no wheel arches but I feel this will be a tighter squeeze getting in and out of.

It's a lot cheaper than building a garage and I'm going to write it off as a business expense. These trailers have great resale value as well /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Oh its about 10" DT, but variable as to the size of tyres and condition of the suspension. Forget the 7'one it won't work. You might consider covering the wheel arches with some old cheap carpet then it won't scratch.---Fwiw---Keoke

Ground to door on mine is 10.5 inches, and I store it in my basement /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Thanks gents.

From what I'm told you can get the wheel arch beveled which might be the way to go!

Keoke as far as the carpet goes I don't think it would hurt to run it up the wall to save on door dings when opening. You can never be to safe!
