What books (paper or digital) are on your list for the winter?

So far I've got:

Larding the Lean Earth - Stoll
Armageddon - Hastings
History Wars - Linenthal
A Nervous Splendor - Morton
The Citadel - Cronin
An Invitation to Old English - Mitchell

I'll probably read some Tolkien to get in the mood for the Hobbit when it comes out.
Right now I'm reading Moby Dick, then I have some Burrows (John Carter and Tarzan books) and then on to Crime and Punishment.

Just starting the Liberation Trilogy by Atkinson (on WWII). I figure it will take me the whole winter because I'll no-doubt get sidetracked on a few less-than-literature crime/detective/action bestsellers.

I seem to read in spurts. I'll find a book and go through it in one or two sittings, then start another. After four or five I don't pick up another for a few months. Mostly biographies, history or the like. Had all my Sci-Fi intake over with back in the teen years. More into factual contemporary stuff now.

I read funny stuff when i was younger and missed the classics. so im in the middle of Dracula and Alice in wonderland. I like to bounce. Just knocked off both The Patriot and Survivors.

I plan to read several books, some of which I'd rather not mention due to their nature, but one book I will tell you about is "RAMJET" A story about a Vietnam Vet's journey though life with PTSD. Just happens I met the author at a book signing the other day at the base exchange and bought two of these book, both of which he signed. One is for my own library and the other I plan to donate to the local NAMI library for people to check out.

Geez, you all need to read a little more trash novels.

That and "The Nazi Channel" (Military Channel) here. :smirk:
