I am just finishing a total restoration of a 54 TR-2 Long Door. All I have left to do is the windshield wiper system. I bought a replacement 2 speed system and spend untold hours trying to install it.A complete waste of time and i can't find the paperwork from where i bought it. Does anyone have a surplus system that will work on a TR-2? Please let me know if you know of one available.

I guess you figured out that the TR2 system is completely reversed. The 2 speed was on the left side, and had a different switch for the speeds, plus an auto-park function not found in the TR2. Marv Gruber would be my first source for an original motor assembly.

John, I found a new one on Ebay and it has the same electrical connections as the replacement I was trying to install. This one comes with the entire system, cable and all. The last one I had to use the left over cable assembly from the original system. They would not work together.

I think this one will do the job. I got it new for about 1/2 the cost, if i could have ever found the original system. Dick
