Windshield wiper help please.

Found out I had a grounding problem, which was why my wipers were working intermittedly. Now that they are moving OK, I have a another problem I hadn't noticed before. When I turn the wipers off, they stop at their highest point of travel on the winshield. What am I doing wrong? I have had everything apart at one time or another - is there something I could have put back together incorrectly? I had thought about having them point to the passenger side, which would solve the problem, but not sure how that would work for visibility. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Turn the "can" on top of the wiper motor while the motor is running until the unit stops where you want it to, tighten the screws and "Bob's your Uncle"!
