I have been using this forum for a long time and always found my answers somewere here but now a have a few problems i cannot figure out. First I will introduce my self . the computer is still a bit new to me so who knows were i will send this one. I have been in woodwork for fourty years and always had a passion for healeys so i bought 1959 bn4 one all ready for the sprayroom now you already know were this story goes. it took five years a lot of money and patince but i am very proud of the end result. now my problem when i turn my wippers off they go intermittent i have turn the limit switch and it does the same thing i have put a new switch in and nothing changes.I have changed the the car to negative ground but i donot think tkis would affect it any thoughts

My BJ8 had the same problem due to excessive, old grease interfering with the parking contacts inside the motor. I could not properly adjust the park position, because the old, hard, grease would lift and insulate the contact from the park contact and prevent the motor from going to the real home position.

The solution to my problem was simple: disassemble the motor and clean the old grease off of the home plate inside the motor and re-lubricate, sparingly, with fresh grease.

Your problem sounds similar. Could there be too much grease in the contact area?
