That was my choice too. I just polish it now and then with some Blue Magic.

Hiya All,

Quick question:

How do I put this darn thing back together?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I have the seal around the glass. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Which parts go on first?
Does the bottom rail to car seal have to go on before or after assembly??

OK,..so after many weeks, I finally tried to put my windshield back together.

PFFFT! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I got the body seal on,..no problem
Put the pillars and the Bottom rail together,..again,..no prob!
Put the seal on the glass,....cake!
Slid the glass into the frame,...CRACK!!!!,..lol,..oops!

OK,...at the windshield shop now,....why do they keep letting me play with things that can break?????

Oh Yeah,

My mechanic suggested a marine wax, to polish the frame with:
Collonite Fleet Wax

So I picked up the windshield from the glass shop today,..and they,um,..well,...

They put the darn thing together backwards! AAAAARRGH!!!

OK, so I'm being a little dramatic,.it runs in my family /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They put the brackets, that hold the top rails to the pillars, on backwards,...which made the whole thing look way wrong.

I took it home and fixed it, without breaking the glass. I'm very proud of me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Another thing checked off of the "to-do" list.
