TR2/3/3A Windshield frame fitting.

I was given a TR3 windshield with the frame a few months ago. The glass is cracked so I decided to get the frame off the glass so I can get the frame chromed at some point. I had been soaking the screws in the corner brackets for weeks. This evening I decided to check to see if I was getting any where with the screws.
It turns out there were no screws in the corner brackets The frame was held onto the glass with silicon corking. Had a time getting the frame off the glass.
I noticed 3 of the fasteners for the top went all the way across the channel and the rest were cut off short. The long screws had some hard rubber blocks beside them probable to stop the glass hitting them.

The frame seems to be in good shape so I need to get a collection of parts for the chrome shop.

I think TRF has the corner brackets and all the screws, not an easy job to get the glass back in have fun.

I have new corner brackets.

I am not planning on using it any time soon. Just had the opportunity to get the frame and Dzus fastener stations. Both need re-chroming.

Interestingly the glass I took out does not seem to have any safety glass markings and looked like it may have been under size.
