I'm going to be installing the windscreen on my '60 TR 3A this weekend. Any tips and or danger points I need to know about? I will hav3 an extra set of hands for the job, but I have never installed one prior to now so any info, hints and look out fors would be greatly appreciated!
I do know about the short/long screw danger.

Thanks, Tinkerman

It's not difficult, just go slow with one person on each side. I used a vinyl tape on the inside of the frames to prevent scratching, and chafing after the installation.

Depending on the car they can be a real pain. I like doing the dzus much better. Like John suggest put some protective tape around the danger areas. I have experienced very tight fits. Once I put a thin gasket between the paint and the bracket and that push the bracket out too far and the frame would not go on. Moreover make sure you have chased the screws in and out of the body tub a few times to have a clear path for the screw and some tapered guide pins/shafts will let you pry around some and hold it will you get the 4 screws started.
