Windscreen installation...

OK, I removed my windscreen (Spit 1500) and repainted the surround. Now I'm ready to reinstall the glass w/new seal.

I bought a tube of 3M Windo-Weld Super Fast Urethane.

Tips I have gathered:
Adhere the seal to the windscreen first.
Use some nylon cord to flip the seal over the surround.
That's it.

During a trial fit of the seal, I notice that it seems a bit loose and it is a bugger to 'slip' over the glass.

Advice?
