Windows 10 airplane mode.......on a desktop?

My newish win10 desktop computer did something quite unusual today.

for no apparent reason, the Internet/network controller went into airplane mode with no obvious way to turn it off. Couldn't even find a command for it, only a notice in the bottom right corner of the screen stating "airplane mode" complete with a icon of a little plane (icon did nothing though).
stranger yet, I don't even have wifi or Bluetooth on this machine, just Ethernet cabled to the router.
had to take it in to a shop & have win10 reloaded. image.jpg

What's you vector Victor?

This is terrible. MicroSoft wouldn't do that to PC users, would they?

I just did a full search on my PC's, and none of them have that absurdity.
I suppose when they built XP they didn't figure anyone would carry any type of device on an airplane and try to use it.
Look at all the fun I am missing out on.
I feel so left out.

Now, where's that Bourbon.....

Aren't these the same people developing
self driving cars?

More than likely, which means, the car will shut down when approaching any airport! BOY, that would be a ringer! :highly_amused: PJ
