All:

I have a removable hardtop (standard BMC) for the 58-61 BE sprite. I also have the original window glass. My understanding is the glass is 1/2 inch think while current plexiglass replacements are 1/4 inch thick. Does someone know a supplier of a seal that can be used for the installation of the original glass?

Thanks,

Mike

1/2 inch thick?!?... I don't think so.

You're looking for this profile. I don't think it's terribly uncommon, and can probably be had from any glass supplier. JC Whitney used to carry it, and you can probably source it from MacGregor's British auto parts.

My error: The glass is 1/4 in while the plexi is 1/8th inch.

Any recommendations?
