Window Installation

I am about to go freaking bonkers! I can't remember how to fit the bottom of the window glass into the raising mechanism. I do remember when taking it out that the stars, moon and planet earth somehow aligned and it popped out easily (after much struggle.) The bottom of the window has to start with either the front or back on the raising mechanism. Have put it away for the night before I do a 'Clark Griswald' and kick into oblivion.
Big sigh.

IIRC I put in the front first - more importantly, I didn't bolt in the mechanism till the wheels were in the slides - you probably already know the mechanism only goes in one way - so no problem there.

Its a PITA is'nt it!? Seems everything has to be in the door but disassembled. Then fit glass to lift mechanism. I'm sure you have it by now!

Kurt.

I've stepped away from this for a day or so. It is supposed to be fun- right? I'll tinker with the front bumper this P.M.; and tomorrow the door's secrets may appear in a new light.

My only saving grace when I did mine was that the doors were off the car and I had them on the floor of the basement. If they had been on the car I would never have succeeded!!
