Don't have the funds to bail you out Billy but if you need help straightening them [expletive deleted] out just gimme a call. They should have asked those "scared" customers to leave instead.
 
I don't know what's worse; the folks who would complain about a scarred little girl, or the SOB that would act on those complaints.
 
I heard on the radio this morning that KFC has decided to donate $30k towards the medical expenses. Now all they need to do is knock some sense into the employee.
 
Just saw that on the web. Good on KFC. I assume the questionable employee is now unemployed.

30K is like $.30 to them. They need to pony up for the full pop, period! Seriously though, like they would ever miss it. Let's say it would cost 250K to get her straight, that's what, a 15 second super bowl spot? IMO 250K spent on her recovery would help public image far better than any ad could no matter what the cost. No matter how you slice it, it's money well spent.....even if it's a shake down...

The sad thing is, I have the feeling we'll be seeing more "incidents" like this in the future.
 
This just in, KFC says it's a hoax, no proof she was even there. Kelly had her doubts from the beginning. I thought I posted about that but I don't see it. I mentioned something about grandma not being nearly mad enough IMO and I was starting to have doubts too.


Seems my wife was right again. I told her the other day I was going to start relying more upon her judgment, she didn't have a problem with that. :highly_amused:
 
What's sad is that this little girl definitely had a very bad thing happen to her and has real medical issues. The grandmother exploited the situation by making up a hoax story. People who opened up their hearts and their pocketbooks are likely to feel quite angry. Hopefully, any blowback will be aimed at the grandmother and not at the little girl.

All that said, you never really will know because all you know is what they tell you, however; I can't see gm anything other than "very" upset. Lots of folks like that around here and going off of what I know and have seen, law enforcement would have been called at a minimum.
