Sorry to hear, Don. Hopping for a fast recovery.

sorry to hear indeed - in our prayers

Very sorry to hear Don, but I'm glad there are not life-threatening injuries. On our way home from church today, my wife and I were talking about how you never know, anytime you leave home in the car, when something like a bad accident might happen. The conversation was prompted as we drove past a set of crosses on a hill that marks the spot where, in 1992, Melanie Cravens and her three young daughters were killed by a drunk driver driving the wrong way on I-40 in Tijeras Canyon.

Again, sorry that had to happen to your family, but so glad they will all live to talk about it. Will keep you all in our prayers for a speedy and full recovery!

Best to Lois for a speedy recovery, Don. Scary stuff!

Yikes, Don! Glad to hear it wasn't worse. Good thoughts for a quick recovery all around.

My wife just got out of the hospital. I spent 3 weeks sleeping on furniture from "The Marquis de Sade Collection" Ugh!!!

Welcome bace Mr Mailbox! Sorry to hear you too had a wife in the hospital! RE: the furniture, you must be talking about the hospital furnishings?

Just got back form spending the day with her. She is doing better just a little more sour. Going to need more surgery on a different part of her foot I a couple weeks.

I hope she has a speedy recovery and gets out of there soon.

Thanks Basil. Yes I was referring to that stuff mislabeled as "furniture". The first night I slept in a chair that sorta leaned back. Later on we were moved to a newer room with a couch that the top folds out in to a bed. It was a poor design at best. I always felt like I was sliding off at 3am. Probably cost the hospital a pretty penny for this "furniture".

Will we move the wife home to a hospital here. It has been a rough day cause of the transfer. Going to be along recovery. With they way she is going to be using her hurt side to much doing the rehab.

Hang in there Don. Wish it were a better story, but hope the long recovery isn't as long as they're telling you.
