As Nancy Kerrigan once said.
I got a call,asking if I wanted to sell the TR6,which I would
replace with another convertible.
I had a VERY fair price in mind, but after looking
at the asking prices in the Classified section, feel that I'll be
losing money by doing so.
Just WHAT happened to the values of all of these
British cars? Is everything worth a lot more than a few months
ago? Do I need to raise my asking price?

- Doug

I used to worry a lot about that. Then realized we rarely ever find out the *actual* selling price of most cars that we see advertised.

But we do often see "hey guys - look what I got for $700".

Onward through the fog.

So let me get this straight, you're upset because you can get more that you thought? Sounds like a winning to me. yes, by all means, ask more but make sure when comparing apples you're not comparing real apples to road apples.
