If it has a motor and wheels, I'm there.
My very first LBC was a Triumph TR3A, and I am forever regretting its departure. My next one was a 1974 1/2 MGB, and that is still in my garage, bought over 22 years ago. I'm a bike guy, car guy, American or worldly, and just like the various races and cultures of the human species, it is all within the human being themself (proper?). Ford or Chevy, Dodge or Buick? I find that most of the Harley riders these days are Retired, doctors or Lawyers, Professional people who, if they go fast on those big M/C's scare the heck out of themselve's,
Me? I make my decisions, I ride Motocross at 50+ years (CZ's) and decided to pursue my LBC quest, had my share of muscle cars and still breath in Nitro Methane when the chance arrives. The fear of financial insecurity has left me, I'm just flat out financially insecure, but I have never seen a Hearse pulling a trailer.
We live in a very diverse world and life is to short to make it unruly, but some do choose to do so.
Triumph or MG, make of it what you will. Maybe we should start a 12 Step recovery program for LBC's?
Hi I'm Dave, and I'm a LBC addict, I'm addicted to the wind in my hair, the sun on my face, smiles from strangers who like to see sports cars with the top down, and (now these days here in California) a car that gets good fuel milage.
