Cause he is heading back to the snow and cold - sheesh. (and he will likely be there in April also )

BTW - note the manufacturer of the seats in the plane - not everything they make is comfortable supportive or of good quality - groan

Recaro has been making seats for them awhile.
I always tell my wife that the planes get the cars rejected seats

Once in 1998 I flew into Worcester Mass on a Sunday night. We got out of the plane on the tarmac and followed the pilot. He unlocked the terminal door, let us all in and then walked us all the way through the place, unlocked the other set of doors, let us out and locked up again. My how things have changed...

Wouldn't airport food, by nature, be especially bad? It's not like they'd be able to ever build a real repeat customer base.

Actually, I think many airport restaurants can be pretty good; they're usually privately owned and operated. It's more likely that *airplane* food is on the negative side of "average". Airport "fast food" places however ... not so great.

Back in the olden days, one of the best places to eat when traveling were the Loewy-designed restaurants in the TWA terminal at Idylwild (now JFK). When men wore hats and women wore gloves. Ah ... the good ol' days.
