I've seen this car quite a few times and it is always fast.

All of the top SVRA cars are of the same caliber. Don't let the "vintage" in vintage racing fool you, it is serious racing, especially at the big festival events. The guys running upfront are former SCCA and IMSA hot shoes and the cars are prepped to match (within SVRA rules of course). There are plenty of other drivers who spent their driving careers in vintage and could easily run up front in an SCCA race as well.
