TR2/3/3A Who sells steering wheel control head "Allen head'' grub screws?

Karl - give Moss Customer Tech a call.

800-667-7872

Not sure there is an "ideal length". Usually a grub screw is long enough to do its job, but short enough so i doesn't stick out of the hole when it's tightened down.

Karl, I got mine locally ... Size is 10/32

Cheers, Mike

I get mine from my local family owned hardware store. They even have gun screws that work in some instruments and sewing machines.

Thanks Mike So the original screws have a pointed end that digs into the round plate when installed so as to keep the control head from moving. Did you find that the Allen head screws, that are flat bottomed, worked well? Also they seem somewhat longer so I guess you do not have to screw them in as far as the original screws? Gotta keep that annoying control head from wandering around.

Hi Karl. No problem with head slipping. I think the ones I got were stainless, and they were not completely flat on the bottom. They were tapered to a “blunt” point. They might be a little proud of the hub, but not much, and have been no problem. Been in place going on 10 years or so now. Cheers, Mike
