Anyone sell the fuel line from the jet to the bowl? I need one about 5 inches.

New jet, Billy. You can try to MacGyver a fix but in the end, you'll have spent more time and energy than it's worth. The bowl side with the ferrule and flat O-ring seal are the issue.

If you're intent on trying in spite of this advice, bench the thing before you start, check for leaks before you remount it.

...milk will show you the leaks as a bench-test, BTW.

Problem is, I need the line to be longer. I moved the bowl to keep from cutting the car to fit. I've already pulled the line out both ends and reinstalled w/ no problem.

Kelly there is a SU jet assembly, that uses a removeable hose rather than the stock type SU jets, the use a barbed plastic fitting that goes on the float bowl an the jet has a barbed fitting made into it aswell, they come with the correct length hose need, however one could make a longer hose for this set up if needed. Peter Caldwell, not too long ago mentioned he had this type of SU jets, so maybe check with him at World Wide Auto Parts and he can help you out.

Thanks Hap. This is just a temporary fix, as I plan on gutting them and using the bodies for F.I. I didn't want to buy new jets as I won't be keepin them as carbs much longer. I take it then you can't get bulk hose (12"s or so). I'm trying to figure a way JP can put SU's on his car w/o having to cut it.

BTW, is that a typo, or does Peter sell auto parts for the big and tall?
