Who rebuilds SU's?

I've been thinking about refurbishing my HS4's being as I am not remotely close to having enough money for a Moss blower. Looking around I see a number of resources for the rebuild/restoration. Mine have been rigged up a bit to make them work on the A series, so I need someone who can work out the questionable modifications. Suggestions?

I've been asking the same question locally, and getting the same answer Boink is getting: Joe Curto. I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on a rebuild, but I'm getting close.

Definitely give Joe a call when you're ready. He's working on my H1 Bugeye carbs now. He's had them since November and estimated back then it was going to be 10 weeks +, he's that jammed up, I should have them back in 10 days. I waited for winter when I don't drive it as much and used that down time to take care of the suspension and things I've been meaning to do.

Wow, thats some serious down time. May just pick up a DCOE instead.

Joe has more work than he can handle but he's upfront about it when you call him. I think it's possible to get them done quicker but I didn't ask him about it. Depending on the shape yours are in, if you just need a rebuild you can do that yourself. My carbs are the original and hammered, I couldn't rebuild them anymore, so they're getting the works.

you have to love tinkering with carbs and buy a tackle box of bits to get it rite.
find a set of HS 2's on eBay easy to make run send your HS4 to Joe Curto
when you get the hs4 back sell the HS 2 back on eBay !
