Replace the heater hoses on my 62 mkII the other day and found a 2" twig about the size of a pencil in the block on the return side. I have no idea how it got there or how it stayed there for possibly 35 years? Is it possible that this was done intentionally?

OF course it was intentional .
Mother Nature did it:
Why you think them hoses lasted for 35 Years.---Keoke---

That makes sense. It must be an organic form of Stop Leak. Or maybe a preservation spell:smile:. Or maybe I have a wood Sprite and it sprouted. I'll plant it and see if I can grow a Bugeye!

The trick to growing a bugeye is harvest timing. You may be tempted to hold off until it grows a trunk but it will always grow fender lights before that happens.

and obviousy if you pick too soon, you end up, not with a dwarf but a Midget.

So cross pollination would produce a Spridget?

absolutely and of course a mutant would be a Triumph (Oh was that an inside word?) ;)
