Who makes the best Creeper?

Hi everybody, I need to buy a creeper for working on my midget. Does anyone have any recommendations? Who makes the best one?

I've had my eye on "the bone" the USA made creeper that looks like a dog bone and appears to be comfortable and well made. Has anyone ever seen or know anything about these? I also have Advance, Autozone, Sears, and of course the Snap-On truck in my town. I don't mind paying more for a creeper if there is a big quality difference. Any input??

I can't remember the brand, but I saw one advertised on one of the auto shows on TV a couple of weeks ago that folded up to use as a roll around work seat as well as a creeper. Looked pretty well made and that is a handy option. I have both a creeper and a seat and I admit I use the seat more often than the creeper so if I could have both in one unit that would be neat and save storage space in the shop. Here's one made by Craftsman, but it seems a bit higher off the ground than I'd care for, however it does combine the two features. https://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00951159000P

use a old mat and your back... FREE! and you gain an extra 1-2"!... but if you need... harbor freight works quite well... just dont buy there little stool on wheels... the frame busted on me within a few weeks, and im only 180 pounds

At least have a look at the one from Griot's Garage. Adjustable headrest even.

that one looks a little too much like a back board for my tastes :jester:

Mine's a folding one from Sears - the adjustable headrest actually drives me crazy since it's always up when I want it down. In truth, I rarely use it - more likely the blanket or cardboard or the floor

I agree JP I rarely use mine as well, in the attached picture you can see my creeper leaning against the wall... the reason why I don't use a creeper in my garage should be quite evident...hee hee gotta love when your building a garage and go shopping for used light fixtures & come home with a hoist
