Seven years ago I went to Best Buy to request a device to keep music on that I could listen to in my Healey, Agatha. They sold me an IPod and told me how to get my music on it and how to use it to play the music back. I did what they said and for the next 2 or 3 years was very happy with it. I also realized I could keep photos as well so transferred some photos to it. Then about a few years back I got my first IPad, one of the very first. When I looked at it and played with it I thought that it was very similar to my IPod and indeed I expected it to be. Then I got my first IPhone. I think that was about 2010. I thought and expected it to be like my IPOd and IPad. Indeed it was. Well just today I decided that I needed to get rid of some photo albums on my IPad and googled to see how to do this. Anyway I thought I might just store them on my IPod as I rarely used it anymore and have a couple of GB on it. WHO KNEW??? I just realized that this old IPod does everything but make phone calls and take pictures. Who knew - NOT ME. Thought it just stored music and photos. Let me access the WWW, print, etc. Now I feel really, really stupic! Now you can all have a good guffaw. I'm okay with that.

Ah.
Phones are for.....communication via voice.
Cameras are for...taking pictures.
Laptops are for.....internet and e-mail.
Reel-to-reel tape decks in the boot of a Healey are for....music.

Well, Sometimes technology out weighs it's self. Sometimes on purpose. :topsy_turvy: PJ

I think I hate being so connected.......but I have to keep up with the grandkids! Our two oldest (14) text when they want to communicate with us so now I text everyone since it is quicker. Of course I had to learn a new language! LOL....

Cheers,
Irene
