And a photo documenting the Crypt Car leaving home.
Worse than getting a new college grad to leave home,
I'll tell ya.

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone!!!!

Hey Congratulations!! Looks great who would know all you went through-- looks like it's been a perfect machine all the time!

Have a happy one

I drove my 80 Spitfire yesterday, and drove it to work today, (Thanksgiving, making the big bucks today!). I'll take an extended drive home this afternoon, the forecast is for 70+ degrees for the Kansas City area!

Great Video. Today in the Midwest on Thanksgiving, it's a beautiful day for a drive (Sunny and 60s). Unfortunately for me, my TR3 is not drivable. So your video is the closest I'll come to driving a TR. Thanks for the pleasure.

Now that my friend, is a beautiful site to see. I'm very happy for you and proud of you as well, for not giving up and making it happen.

I would take a picture of my car in the driveway, but remember that it's a holiday in New England, so that mean that it's raining and cold, so I won't be driving the TR6 today.

Since I can't, why don't you drive another 3-4 miles there for me?

Way to go, Dale!

Sadly, I won't be able to drive the Herald today. Due to a bit of rain and freezing temperatures, they SALTED my road. So now I've got to wait for a good, soaking rain in a warmer temperature, or simply put the car away until spring.

Not one of the best parts about living in upstate New York.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Dale, the car sounds great in the video!

Now that she's out, you'll have to rearrange the garage to allow for a proper area to clean and wax her.

Now comes the fun part, details, details, details.....

IT'S ALIVE!!

Congrats Dale we all knew you could do it!!

Well most of us anyway

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, It dont look like were going for a ride today, It's pouring rain here in Ct. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Dale, that is fantastic news!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Mark

Dale,

Brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye!

Thanks for sharing! Too much like a cold monsoon here today but tomorrow might be the day.

Congrats!!!

It's storming rain and wind here, so the TR (and the other cars) will be staying put.

Great job Dale, like many others I've been following your trials, you're an inspiration for the rest of us! Andrew /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Great to hear Dale, you've learned a lot and come along way. It all adds to the enjoyment you'll have when driving it. Know that we'll still be here for you in the future as well.

Great stuff!

Tinster
you (and your wife) have done well. Many lesser folk would have given up long ago. Now get out there, fill up the tank and enjoy. By the way, lets see some pics of those so called beaches you have over there........
Regards
Craig

I didn't get it done on Thanksgiving, I was out of town. However, the weather was so nice today that I had to wake Ol Yeller up. After the proper fiddling around and checking things, it fired right up and I put on about 35 miles. It was a bit cool for the top down, but top up was better than not at all. I wish that I knew how to post a pic. If I did I'd give you a view from my windscreen.
