Pic resolution wasn't quite good enough, I couldn't read the wrist band!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Nice shots though, and from an era I remember all too well!!!

Those are scanned prints from internegs, of 'chromes. When (if) I can find the slides i'll scan 'em directly.

On THOSE you can read the band. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Shucks, I thought that was Doc and Tony out looking for women way back when.

internegs....

now there's a word I haven't heard in a while...

and hope to never hear again....

bleh.. yer bringing back bad memories of internegs and copynegs.... and little old ladies screaming because their prints of dear old timmy look like crype and there is no way they can show these next to the closed casket in 30 minutes.

There is a very good reason why i'm now in a job 5 or 6 levels removed from actual customers... you can explain increased contrast and lost resolution 'till you are blue in the face but they never can just "get it" - seems that they just hear "blah blah blah" and think you are being condescending.

"Ma'am, I KNOW the customers are always right but that still doesn't make it possible for me to refute the basic laws of physics"

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

OK... maybe I CAN be a little condescending.

And usually the original print they gave you was a blurry wallet size forty year old B&W...

I've got a few of those things from press release kits from Watkins Glen. My uncle owned a bar there for a number of years that was quite a hot spot on race weekends. I'll have to dig out some of the more interesting stuff and post...
