White Deer

basil, nice!, i had a white deer run infront of me while i was driving out of westchester county airport n.y., pulled over to watch it when a state trooper pulled up behind me to find out why i had my flashers blinking, we sat on the tailgate of my pick up truck for about 20 min. watching it, the trooper took my name and phone number, said he may need a witness to confirm his story when he got back to his station, nice guy. :yesnod:

My daughter goes to camp in Manitowish and we stay in Boulder Junction!! It's about 6 hours north from here. I have to see those magnificent creatures live when we go up there in a few weeks. Wow!!

Basil, Thanks for posting that vid! I have not seen any but have seen stills and heard stories. Shirley and I did have a bear cross about a hundred feet in front of our TR6 last summer while on a trip to the UP. And we have to constantly be on the look out for deer (the brown ones) all over the state.

Wink, nod, say no more. Did he start singing the Monty Python lumberjack song?

Peter, if you are going through Milwaukee, give me a heads-up!

My wife has seen one of these deer while visiting a friend iup in Tomahawk, WI. Said it was like a ghost!

gegw, no but he did whistle a bunch of "eddie murcury" tunes for me and had what i thought was a rather well tailored uniform in bright pink.
