Hi all-
I'm in the market for a overdrive transmission for my 74 1/2 mgb.
I assumed that I needed a rubber bumper 75-80 model od, but it occured to me that the split exhaust, with the duel su's, may interfer with the overdrive assembly.

Thanks for any input/experience information.

Check the TPM number on your car's speedometer. I think it will be 1000 tpm or else 1280. If it's 1000 then you want the later blue label OD.
 
I think that's the best option, I'm having the same problem. The 1000 tpm speedo is for the blue label OD (rubber bumper, these have the filler plug on the side). The 1280 tpm works with the top-filled black label OD.
