Which Harley-Davidson Muffler for a BE?

I've seen references over the years to using a Harley-Davidson muffler on a Spridget - a BE in our case - but have never seen the model or year or whatever specified. Back about 2010, I picked up a set of mufflers from the local H-D dealer that I presume came off one of their full dresser versions (the owner of which had wanted a different exhaust system. They were free, but I dropped off a case of beer the next day as a thank-you). The ruler between the mufflers is a 12 inch; the mufflers are each 29.5 inches long. Are these the type that are installed? If not, can someone advise? Thanks!

You are looking for a 19" Sportster Bullet Shaped Tip Muffler. One that looks like this. Nice tone to it none of the WHAAAAAAAAPPPPP sound I hate when you get on it.

Thanks Jim - Kijiji here has three sets of stock sportster exhausts available, so I'll see how badly the owners want to get rid of them. Later, Doug

I got mine from my local Harley shop. The guy just gave me one to get rid of it! It looks great on these cars and sounds good as well.exhaust pipe.jpg
