Which Brake Pipe Kit for a BE with Discs

I am upgrading Bugsy II to front discs off of a '71 Midget. I know later Backing plates are located in a different spot that BE Drum Backing Plates but at the same time the 4 way union on a BE is located in a different spot than on later cars. So which Brake Pipe Kit is the right one to use. One intended for a BE or one intended for a SWA 1275 Spridget. Also looking for suggestions for a clutch pipe setup hen using a 5 Speed and Gerard's Kit. Thanks.

Jim,
I ordered the standard Bugeye setup and you have to bend the pipes anyway. The rear 1275 cars use a regular fitting and the Bugeye uses 'banjo' fittings that the thread fits into. I'm using the Bugeye brass 4 way union as well.

What clutch slave does Gerard use? I've cut and welded tubing together to make the connection's for the clutch slave.

Use the Bugeye set of pipes. Front pipes are the same disc or drum. With the later backing plates you will need to wiggle the rear lines a little, but it's not that hard.

Here are some notes from when I did the conversion on the Tunebug.

Thanks guys.

Jim,

For the 5 speed kit, you will use the stock 7/8" slave cylinder, but it will be mounted on the left instead of the right, so a shorter line can be used. It's something you can easily make up from a line purchased at your local parts store or you can reuse the original and either shorten and reflare it or just re-bend it. You can also make up a new flex line with some braided hose and fittings. I always make up a remote bleeder as well, but that's up to you.
