Which blasting media to polish?

I'm looking for something to take some dirt off, but leave the metal shiney and not dull like sand or aluminum oxide does.

Walnuts shells, glass beads?

Shells, or almost any other organic media, but keep the blast pressure DOWN and keep your blast nozzle AWAY from the work to seart with.

Just start off SLOW. It's much easier to increase the pressure and/or move in as you get a feel for what you are doing.

Glass beads will give you a matte finish almost no matter what you do.

Good Luck. Let us know how it turns out.
