Where to get 3 way fuel pump switch?

Now that I've installed my Toyota 5-speed transmission I'd like to convert my overdrive switch to toggle between fuel pump #1 and pump #2. Does anyone know what type of switch I could place directly into the overdrive switch hole in my dash to do this and still look stock?

Try a single pole double throw switch from Radio Shack. (SPDT)

While Radio Shack is a good enough source for a DPDT automotive switch (make sure it's rated for 12VDC and several amps), I replaced my toggle switch with one to dip the headlights. Up is a momentary contact for high beams, middle is for low and down is maintained high beams. (My OD switch is now on the shift knob.)

I found the right switch at a big electronics supply store. Something like this. Since I'm operating relays, I don't need much current capacity.

Rather than putting the fuel pump selector switch on the dash think about placing it in a spot that is less visible so that it affords a bit of anti-theft protection when in the center-off position. In my 100 I have the on-off-on switch installed directly behind the driver's seat so that I can reach behind me to select between pumps while driving if need be.

BTW I recently installed a double-headed SU pump in place of the original pump and a FACET backup. Though in most original applications both coils (motors) usually ran simultaneously I wired it up so I can select between one or the other--or neither.

John Turney: I like your idea of using the switch for a headlight dimmer/flasher. Did you also wire things so that your driving lights were energized in the momentary-contact position?

There is another switch that will turn them on when I turn on high beams and off when I'm on low beams. If that switch is on, they will come on with the momentary-contact position.
