Hello Gentlemen

Where can I find the gearbox oil filler plug on my 67 GT ( all synchro gearbox)

( have downloaded a photo in the Members Pictures - MG)

thank you

I guess my 67 GT may not have a standard gearbox, it is all 4 speed synchro, hence the workshop manual hasnt helped me at all in locating the filler

thanks

If it doesn't have a dip stick, then it should have a fill plug on the side.

A thought just came to me, does your GT have a plug on top of the tunnel up by the firewall? If it doesn't, and you cant see a fill plug on the side of the tranny, then someone might have put a later model tranny in it with a dip stick and you can't access it. Sounds crazy but possible.
