No, rubber sills were stock for many years...though most carpet kits replace them with carpet.

What is the measurement of the piece?
Does not appear to be a piece for the sill...makes no sense with the way it's cut.
I stick with my original answer...Transmission tunnel carpets have been produced in two pieces, with the rear piece installed first, then the forward piece installed second.
