I just posted at 11:00 cdt, and the time stamp says 4:00. Where is the reference time point?

Go to the "Settings" tab at the top of the page, then under "My Account" select "General Settings". Scroll down to "Date and Time Options" and you'll see there's a choice for your particular time zone.

It's weird that your time would be that far off. The "default" time stamp is supposed to be based on EST since that is where the server is located. I'd be interested to hear where your time zone settings were set?

Here's a vido to supplement what Mickey just told you.
