we are gonna ( ehh umm.. my mechanic guy) brake the cars down totaly and start from scratch.

what i know i can start to look for for booth is .:

new wiereing + kaleche+ tonneau + carpets and new intereieur + back seats - all else seems to be there -

we prolly gonna take all crome to get it redone.

have anyone got any ideas of where to buy stuff besides moss ? I used moss when we made my frogeye some 5 years ago, but would like to hear what you guys use -

to be honest i was hoping to find some used / patina carpets for one of the cars so i wouldent be too nerveus when ice cream spiled on it by my daughter - anyone had any experience about that ? or is it too much trouble and not worth it ?

i have a hardtop comming home for one of the cars - but dont know what needs to be done with it -

again please se my other post if you could help me find out more info about the cars.

thanks - finaly i feel like one of you guys /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Re: buying stuff for the healey x 2

I have two pieces of original trim you might be interested in. One is a front badge and the other is the script "austin healy" from a 3000 Mk II. Make me an offer I can't refuse. Photos available if requested.

Forget about the Healeys--let's learn more about your restaurant staff. I like her mussels.

This is what I like about the people on this forum they always manage to find those little bits of information that everyone just need to know about.

Thank you Michael.

I forgot to say I get most of my Healey parts at AH Spares.

Soren,

We are blessed with many parts suppliers here in the USA. I think that it's fair to say that most people here get most of their parts from the businesses that advertise in the club magazines. CLICK HERE TO SEE A LIST WITH LINKS..

However, it doesn't seem very practical to buy parts in the USA when you live in Denmark. I don't know much about the parts suppliers on the continent, but in England there are of course many and you have many options. I have bought from AH Spares, the direct descendant of the parts department of the Donald Healey Motor Company; and SC Austin-Healey Parts, the former "Southern Carburetters" that goes way back. But there are many good choices in England.

Of course the best place to check is with your own club there in Denmark (and tell me, why do we spell it Denmark and when you spell it Danmark?). AUSTIN-HEALEY CLUB DANMARK.

Say, are you going to the 3rd European Healey Meeting in Sweden at the end of July/early August? It must be only a short drive and ferry ride for you.

Use one of BCF vendors.

I have gotten a bunch of stuff from Tony at The Autoist and have been very happy with his prices.

Cheers

Mark
