Hi healeynut, it just so happens I live close to Trefethen and Duckhorn is one of my favorites, partly because we sell our fruit to them. What I really need now is that I know there are some folks in my area is to find out where the competent Healey mechanic is. Any ideas?

Well, my mechanic no longer has a shop, but will come and do work at your house if you have the tools and lifting equipment. His name is Mike, and his company used to be John Bull Auto. He lives in Pleasant Hill so about 30 min from you. Don't know if he is still doing work, let me check and get you his contact info.

The other option for high quality Healey work is British Car Specialists in Stockton, CA. They sell parts and do restorations. They really know Healeys - one of the top experts in the US, honestly.
